Ramadhan is going to end


Its going to end and Syawal is coming. So fast!
PM halo...isnt there any bonus for us?Pls la ...atleast 1/10 of what u have should be given to the people out here!
Gosh, they will find me and put me in the ISA...no no shouldnt say anything bad bout the gvment..haha
Well, we deserve to get the bonus, we are used to it, so once they stop the bonus then we will surely feel the different of this coming raya!

As for me, every raya is the same coz I never have any baju raya...haha..bluff..bluff..
ya lar, I always buy 6 months earlier what..heeh
bought kain for my sons and hubby
a lot of baju kurung for Hanis
cookies??buat sendiri...jimat...budget..
shoes??only for hanis..
my sons??they got already NIKE shoes from their uncle..save some more..haha

Marble Suji Cookies


Bahan-bahan ( 170 biji )
4 cawan tepung gandum
2 cawan tepung suji
1 3/4 cawan gula halus
1 1/2 cawan minyak sapi
perwarna (ikut suka)
Cara-cara Gaulkan kesemua bahan sehingga sebati. (Boleh kurangkan jika tak nak buat banyak)
Bahagikan doh kpd 4 bahagian (ikut berapa warna yg anda nak). Uli panjang-panjang setiap doh dan satukan menjadi satu batang (silinder). Kemudian, potong setebal 1cm (bergantung kpd diameter silinder) dan bentukkan menjadi bulat.
Bakar pd suhu 180°C selama 15-18 minit. (tidak perlu sapukan marjerin/mentega pd loyang pembakar). Sejukkan dan simpan dalam balang.

Biskut Sarang Semut

Bahan-bahan ( <50 biji )
6 oz mentega
4 oz icing sugar
6 oz tepung gandum
4 oz tepung custard
1/2 sudu teh baking powder
1/2 sudu vanilla
secukup chocolate rice
secukup paper cup
secukup "edible" manik (sebagai hiasan)
Cara-cara Pukul gula dan mentega, kemudian masukkan tepung dan uli hingga sebati.
Parutkan adunan ini dan masukkan ke dalam paper cup.
Taburkan chocolate rice diatasnya dan letakkan sebiji manik.
Bakar pada 180 degree selama lebih kurang 10 minit.
Biskut Sarang Semut sudah sedia untuk dimakan

Kek Kurma / Prune

Bahan-bahan:
200g kurma / prune
100g kismis (optional)
175g tepung gandum
150g butter / margarine / corn oil
125g gula halus
3 telur
1 tsp serbuk penaik
1 tsp esen vanilla
½ tsp soda bicarbonate
½ cawan air

Cara:
- Kukus kurma dengan ½ cawan air. Lenyekkan. Ketepikan.
- Pukul butter & gula hingga kembang
- Masukkan telur satu per satu. Masuk esen.
- Masukkan tepung + serbuk penaik + soda bicarbonate
- Kacau hingga mesra.
- Masuk loyang. Bakar 180C, 45 minit.

Blueberry Cheese Tart


SWEET PASTRY

*Berat pastri yang terhasil lebih kurang 780 g.



Bahan A

200 g mentega

100 g gula aising

1/4 sudu teh esen vanilla



Bahan B

1 biji telur



Bahan C

420 g tepung

1 sudu besar tepung susu



Cara-cara

1. Putar (A) hingga lembut dan tambahkan (B). Putar lagi hingga gebu.

2. Masukkan (C) dan gaul sehingga sempurna.



* Tat akan bewarna keemasan dan rangup jika dibakar di rak bawah ketuhar (lebih kurang 1/2 inci dari bahagian bawah ketuhar

BLUEBERRY CHEESE TARTS



Bahan-bahan

300 g Sweet Pastry



Filling

Bahan A

250 g cream cheese

50 g gula

25 g mentega



Bahan B

1 biji telur



Bahan C

25 g whipping kream



Bahan D

20 g tepung



Blueberry filling



Cara-cara

1. Tekankan pastri manis ke dalam acuan tat. Tusukkan lubang di kulit pastri dan bakar pada suhu 190 darjah Celcius selama 15 minit atau sehingga kuning perang. Ketepikan.

2. Inti : Pukul (A) sehingga licin dan gebu. Masukkan (B) dan pukul hingga sebati. Tambahkan (C) dan sebatikan hingga sempurna. Campurkan (D) dan ratakan dengan sempurna.

3. Tuangkan inti keju ke dalam kulit pastri yang telah dibakar tadi. Bubuhkan sedikit jem beri biru di permukaan atas dan bentukkan corak olakan.

4. Bakar pada suhu 200 darjah Celcius selama 10-12 minit.



Nota :-

* Jika inti keju dibakar terlalu lama, permukaannya akan menjadi retak.

* Untuk menjadikan permukaan atas tat lebih menarik, sapukan apricot glaze supaya ia kelihatan berkilat. (Apricot glaze + sedikit air dan panaskan di atas dalam periuk kecil di atas dapur hingga campuran tersebut cair)

* Strain (tapis) blueberry filling tersebut supaya filling tersebut dapat keluar dengan lancar sekiranya menggunakan piping bag ketika menghias. (Ini terkena batang hidung sendiri hari tu, bila nak pipe buat bentuk spider web tak jadi sebab tersumbat-sumbat dan berbiji-biji)

Agar-agar Kering




Bahan

40 gm serbuk agar-agar

2 kg gula batu

1 kg gula pasir

4 liter air

Beberapa pewarna dan perasa - boleh gunakan warna dan perasa untuk konyaku jelly





Cara menyediakannya

Satukan semua bahan dan masak hingga tua/matang dalam 1 jam dengan api sederhana.
Sementara itu, siapkan beberapa loyang 10x10in.
Setelah adunan siap dimasak, sukatkan 280ml untuk setiap loyang.
Tuang adunan ke dalam loyang dan ratakan.
Setelah agar-agar sejat, gulung dan jemur dalam tapisan yang dialas dengan aluminium tray.


Nota

Untuk setiap 1120ml agar-agar yang sudah dimasak, campurkan dengan 2 tsp perasa dan masukkan pewarna secukupnya (sukatan ini menghasilkan 4 loyang).

Getting Older

Hmm...every time we discussed on what to buy for 'buka' it will end up with 'entah ae
??God i really hate that but its true we dont know what to decide..it seems that there are no more excitement like the time when we were kids. Wow, everything seems good and delicious. Believe me, Rm10 is not enough man..so many things to buy..a lar...murtabak, karipap, puding, this la that la...ahha sometimes i need to do a second round from the start of the bazar until the end just to satisfied myself with the food that i hv already bought!!Guys believe me, but that was past. Now, hmm it will be such a burden in making decision. Looking at the kuih and others are not the same as before. Dnt know why but as i ve written as the title, I think age does matter here. I am happy enough to see my daughter feels happy when its buka time..hehe...she will eat with no words uttered out. Once she is full she will smile haha...nice to see that. As for me, the moment eating together with my mum and dad is a memory. Seldom have the time. Though if we hv time, i can see that there are no more eager in choosing the food, they eat just for the sake of 'buka puasa', i can feel that. Well, guys Happy Ramadhan and do cherish the people around you so that there will be no regrets.......
